Nice review, I also loved Saiukoku Monogatari for its use of literary devices
and the plot is complex and thought provoking; you can never really seperate the
realm of reality from imagination.
I'm a sucker for action type anime since the battles are so addictive! Its a
pity though since its the type of anime I wouldn't watch twice. (since there is
not much story to analyse.. but emotional factor might convince me to
though)
Nice writing for a first time review. Haruhi might be taken as a mediocre anime
by some and an awesome one by others. I'm in the latter camp, but only because
of two personalities that came from the show, Haruhi and Kyon. I can really
imagine wanting to know them in life.
It was a much better remake of Kanon 2002 if you've seen it before and the
animation there really doesn't do the artwork justice. I felt the high budget
was what made the series a success for the most part and the HQ factor is what
pulled the atmosphere off.
I really love your use of visionary explanations ^^ it was truly an enjoyable
read~
The anime ending certainly warrants a better rating apart from the manga. There
really was that "closed book" feeling like the end to a Disney movie..
though the manga did strive to do the same with reference to "New
Future".
For Full Moon, the fillers were necessary to distract from the tear-breaking
under story, it would certainly have made an award-winning classic if that was
in-existent though that's just my perspective..^^

BTW.. Did you find the Tsukihime anime good ?
