Yeah, Tantei Gakuen in live-action. I saw the cover of the dvd once in a store. The characters don't resemble the original characters in the manga at all. But I think I know which one is Ryu though, gah, he's so just cool.

By the way, I've got my hands on the final chapter. T.T It's just plain touching. To think Mr. Dan passed away because of some unknown illness. *sobs*

Owh yeah, talk about live-action dramas, I just happened to watch Hana Yori Dango 2 few weeks ago. Now that is really some touching story. And I think I've fallen in love with Utada Hikaru's Flavour of Life.

Haha.. Yamada Ryousuke?xD the johnny's junior kid right.. I think he plays Ryu. I don't have a fetish for little kids but he does certainly know how to act cool. *lovest the scene where he saves Meg from falling* I actually almost mistook him for Kazuma at the start since he was so short, until I saw the real Kazuma who was even taller than Ryu! O_o I think the TV drama series has a different Kazuma thankfully.

I like Hanadan season 1.. but am halfway through season 2, don't have perseverence. If you've heard Otsuka Ai's Planetarium its actually quite catchy as well. I had both songs up for repeat for weeks wanyway.=D I wonder if you've seen Nodame Cantabile Live Action? Its a recommended watch as well.

Hi toujin.. sorry for the misunderstanding. ^^; By TRC, I meant Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. Your designs looked very inspired by the feathers CLAMP drew in that series. But I certainly do love how that pattern looks.

Hunter x Hunter is a great anime! You should definitely see it, at least up to OVA1. I don't like Greed Island that much, but I certainly liked the artwork. Glad you like it too.. ><;;

I agree that the OVA covered the novel very well, though I had read it earlier and realised the numerous deleted scenes which I thought played out Yumi and Sachiko's relationship very well.

My favourite novel is One Page of Midsummer, which is the next confirmed OVA, and not so much Vacation of the Lambs, which I thought was slow-moving. Though I enjoyed the scene where Yumi dedicates a song very much. So I'm definitely waiting to see how they portray the next arc. Especially the histerical Hanadera Academy Council and the very moving conclusion of Yumi and Sachiko.

I believe it was the novel translations~ However, the complete translations are up to volume 6 on wiki.

The novels actually have a radiance of their own, definitely worth a read. I think spoilers won't affect your watching experience too, they can even be used for comparison if you're worried about that.^^ I actually do comparisons for the Maria-sama ga miteru series.
